What is the MRF?
The MRF, is THE trade association of the metal recycling sector. The MRF represents the interests of 140 professional companies that collectively account for 85% of the total volume. These metal recyclers have the MRF Hallmark, which is proof of quality and professionalism.
What does the MRF do?
The MRF regularly sits around the table with the government to discuss legislation, bottlenecks and opportunities for the industry on behalf of its members. The MRF consults in style but does not shy away from a firm stance if its members' interests are at stake. Where useful, the MRF cooperates with related organisations. The MRF is part of the National Recycling Forum and is a member of the European recycling organisation EuRIC. Through this network, the MRF has timely influence on decision-making and access to crucial information.
